Myriam has always dreamed of making shoes. After studying industrial design at the University of Montreal, she went to London to complete a Footwear Diploma at the prestigious Cordwainers London College of Fashion. After a stint at Fabrica, the research center of the United Colors of Benetton company, she joined the Aldo Group team in Montreal. She will be a designer there for 5 years and will develop more than 3000 pairs of shoes, many of which are among the company’s best sellers.

Frequently traveling to Asia, Europe and the United States to study the market and oversee production, she has developed a unique understanding of shoe production from one end of the chain to the other. In the summer of 2016, Myriam jumped full-time in the entrepreneurial adventure with Maguire. She has the mission to make high-end shoes more accessible and to reinvent the shopping experience for its customers.
